Heartbreaking sale. 14.1hh, 4 year old, liver chestnut Welsh Section C gelding. Sired from Fwrog William (Royal Welsh winner) x Llafar Rock Chick. King (also known as Spud) has an exceptional temperament for a 4yr old and is more like an over sized pet dog than a pony. Spud needs a 5* knowledgeable forever home as he still has a lot to learn. He would benefit from 1-1 time and is definitely a one person pony. He has huge potential and in the right hands he will make some a fabulous pony and excel in any discipline. Spud is very lightly backed but due to a traumatic start in life I have taken him back to basics and been doing a lot of long reining and lunging with tack on etc, as a result I have only just started to sit on him and will continue to do more until he is sold. He has been walked out on roads with heavy traffic and has also been taken over railway tracks and has never been bothered about anything. Spud is loved by all on the yard and he loves cuddles and attention from the kids. He has an exceptional temperament for a 4 year old, I have never had any issues with him and he’s been nothing but a pleasure to me and a really good boy. Only 5* knowledgeable forever homes which will be vetted before-hand and no first time tries, I would like you to come a few times to make sure he is right for you. No dealers.
